My name is Deanne Woityra, but most people call me Didi (D.D).  I am a gymnastics instructor at Stars and Stripes Kids Activity Center in Clarkston, MI.  I have been a gymnastics coach for a total of five and a half years.  I absolutely love the sport of gymnastics and working with children, so I get the best of both worlds!  Even though I do not find myself in a traditional classroom, the students that I work with all have different learning styles and challenge my teaching abilities on a daily basis. 
 

When I am not in the gym or working on my Master’s courses, I am enjoying the warm weather!  My puppy, Elbe, loves playing soccer, so I take her outside as often as I can!  Camping, bonfires and SMORE’S, are just a few of my favorite things to do during the summer and fall months! 

 

I completed my undergraduate at Michigan State University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education, double minor in Mathematics and English.  Last year (2013) I realized that I loved being a SPARTAN so much, that I came back for round two to further my education! I am currently working towards my MAED at MSU with a concentration in Special Education and plan to finish my degree summer 2014. 

 

In addition to working with children, technology has always been an interest of mine.  I enjoy taking on new challenges and I hope you find the information on this webpage informative and useful!
